My name is Jane, and that's my mom in her favorite place, Muskoka. She is where my story begins. I come from a long line of spiritual women. My mother read cards, tea leaves and received messages from spirit on the daily. I am so honoured to follow in her footsteps but my magic wand is the Tarot. I have been able to sense messages for my whole life. Connecting with animal and people spirits seemed "normal" to me. And so, my mother decided to train me to have an "ear open" to messages from the spirit world, as well as my own intuitive understanding of people. I am honoured to follow in her footsteps and offer others a space of quiet reflection, with my magic wand, the Tarot, lighting the way.
I love seeing the pathway the cards lay down for us. They are wise; they have a sense of humour; they are powerful and empowering. My passion for reading began with simple playing cards as a teenager, but for the last 25 years, I have been completely entranced by the wisdom of the Tarot. Now, I am able to apply the skills I learned in my 30 years as a high school English teacher to teaching this very old art. I have designed support materials which are thoroughly user friendly. I know everyone learns differently, so I use popular music, stories and conversation to bring the cards to life. When it comes to offering a reading, I focus on co-constructing positive, supportive and do-able change through a little walk, hand in hand, with the angels and ancestors who support us every step of the way.
